About IEEE ACIRS 2016

2016 IEEE Asia-Pacific Conference on Intelligent Robot Systems (ACIRS 2016) will be held during July 20-24, 2016 in Tokyo, Japan, technical sponsored by Hosei University, University of Toyama, Japan and Chongqing University, China.

IEEE ACIRS 2016 provides a forum for scientific advances in the theory and practice of Intelligent Robot Systems. It is a highly selective, single-track meeting that will be soliciting submissions presenting significant, original, and previously unpublished research. IEEE ACIRS 2016 aims to be one of the leading international conferences in the Asia Pacific region, and will provide an exciting environment for researchers to present and discuss the latest technologies, algorithms, system architectures, and applications.

Accepted papers of ACIRS 2016 will be published in Conference Proceedings.

Conference Proceedings

All accepted papers must be written in English and will be published into conference proceedings by IEEE.

The proceedings will be submitted and reviewed by the IEEE Xplore and Ei Compendex after the conference.

Good News!
Accepted papers will be recommended to be published in Machines (ISSN 2075-1702; CODEN: MACHCV) after adding at least 30% new content.

Articles submitted directly to IEEE ACIRS 2016 will be fully peer reviewed by appropriately qualified experts in the field selected by the Conference Committee.

PLEASE NOTE: To be published in the IEEE ACIRS 2016 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full or limited (member or non-member) rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event and who is qualified both to present and answer questions.  Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper.  For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full registration is valid for up to 3 papers.  Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE ACIRS 2016 Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore® as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.

Participants' presentations are divided into different sessions based on the conference topics, participants should find the right session room and be there at least 3 minutes earier to copy his ppt/pdf presentation into the laptop and get ready. Then the session chair will start the session on time, and give a grade to each presentation, which should be within 15 minutes, including Q&A.
